Black Tie Affair

We had the pleasure of hearing John's 8th grade Orchestra perform at the High School Theatre this past week. This was their first time to dress 'Black Tie' and as you can see he was very handsome! Next year they will be wearing tuxedos. They sounded great as they serenaded us with some timely holiday music.

Wow-wish we could have heard John play. I love holiday concerts! And he does look very handsome, indeed :)

He does look rather dashing! Is that a viola? Barry's daughter, Aleysa plays the viola and so does Victoria. In fact at Thanksgiving Victoria and Brody (who plays the guitar) played together for us all. It was wonderful! We could get them all together and have a quartet.

It's actually a violin. I didn't know they played string instruments too. I guess I could have figured Brody would play guitar since he seems like such a cowboy and very creative too. John usually plays for our family gatherings too. If we ever all get together maybe Rita or my John can accompany them on piano! And Audrey and David can sing...etc... jeesh, we have a very musical family!
