Today's Southern Belles

St. Patrick's Day weekend we had the pleasure of a fun visit with our cousins from Texas, Allison, Angela and Amber. We all went bowling and showcased our fantastic ball skills with a girls vs. boys contest. It was so nice to have some females with me in this house dominated with males! They spent the night with us and the next morning I took these beautiful "Southern Belles" on a tour of Stone Mountain. We shopped and toured the authentic Antibellum buildings and imagined what life might have been for us back then. Then we went on to Old Town Lilburn for more shopping and eat at my favorite place, The Blue Rooster. MMmm! Chicken salad sandwiches!

Here's a slideshow of the trip up the mountain...

Hey Lisa, when is your B-Day? Are you all moving?

Thanks all! Lori, my birthday is April 28th and coming too fast! LOL! I'll be 39 :(

No, we're not moving. John has a great new job here, he's been working at for about 2 months now. If you were wondering about Dixie's post, she and John Sr. are coming out in June to spend time with us-we are hoping for about a month. We are really looking foward to it, as we have not gotten to spend that much time with them since we moved away from Texas. Even then, they both worked so it wasn't as much time as we would have liked.

I know you are as relieved as we are that Trish's surgery went well. And, I bet you are busy these days planning for a graduation! :)
